  • Laser physics - solid-state lasers, picosecond and tunable lasers, frequency converters, optical parametric oscillators, etc.
  • Nonlinear optics - up-conversion, phase conjugation in photorefractive crystals, spatial solitons, etc.
  • Phase transitions - kinetics of self-organization under laser irradiation, metastable states, etc.

  • Навыки экспериментальной работы на сложном спектроскопическом комплексе, включающем твердотельный пикосекундый лазер, нелинейно-оптические преобразователи частоты, пикосекундные лазеры на растворах красителей, высокочувствительную систему регистрации, автокорреляторы для измерения параметров пикосекундных световых импульсов и др.
  • Навыки теоретической работы в области аналитического описания процессов нелинейного взаимодействия световых пучков, включая сверхкороткие световые импульсы и пространственно-модулированные световые поля (оптические изображения), с конденсированными средами различных типов
  • Навыки компьютерного эксперимента
